Terms of Service

1. The service

Vertical Studio processes video you provide and produces adapted versions, highlights, captions and related outputs. We may improve and change the service over time.

2. Your account

You are responsible for the people you invite to your workspace and for keeping sign-in details safe. You must be able to enter a contract to use the service for a business.

3. Your content

You keep all rights to the video you upload and to the outputs made from it. You give us permission to store and process your content only to provide the service to you. You confirm you have the rights needed to process the content you send.

4. Acceptable use

Do not use the service for content you have no right to use, for unlawful content, or to disrupt or probe the service. We may suspend a workspace that does.

5. Trials, plans and payment

Trials are free for the stated minutes and days. Paid plans are billed monthly in advance, with minutes over the included amount billed in arrears at the plan's rate. Prices are in US dollars and exclude taxes. You can cancel at any time; the plan runs to the end of the paid month. Unpaid invoices may lead to new work being paused.

6. Availability and support

We aim for the service to be available at all times but do not guarantee it on trials and self-serve plans. Enterprise agreements may include service levels.

7. Liability

To the extent the law allows, our total liability in any twelve months is limited to the fees you paid in that period, and neither side is liable for indirect or consequential losses.

8. Ending

You may stop using the service at any time. When a workspace closes you can export your outputs for 30 days, after which we delete your content.

9. Changes

We will tell workspace owners about material changes to these terms at least 30 days before they take effect.
